Robert’s role is to provide bespoke financial planning advice to expatriates in Japan and their subsequent locations. He has 27 years of experience in the financial planning industry and holds professional qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Insurance in the UK.

Career background

Robert began his career with Lloyds Bank in the UK before an assignment to the Standard Bank of South Africa then moving to Friends Provident and General Accident before relocating to Japan in 1999 to continue his career in financial planning.

Interests

Robert’s main sporting pursuit is cycling and is the Founder of the charity cylcing team, the Knights in White Lycra. He also runs 'Brits at Lunch', a lunch club for British expatriates in Tokyo. He confesses to being a die-hard supporter of Newcastle United Football Club. He has a Japanese wife and two boys.
